Introduction:

The ability to apply reasoning and logic to unfamiliar ideas and opinions describes critical thinking. When people are thinking critically they are seeing views in an open-minded way. Critical thinking is important because it helps people adopt a view different from what they have and also to look beyond their own perception of things. Three main types of thinking styles are logical thinking, scientific thinking, and persuasive thinking. Within the three main thinking styles, they are all different from another but all express similarities and weaknesses. Each individual person has a primary style of thinking used the most to help with his or her decision-making process. With logical thinking a person uses reasoning consistently until he or she comes to a conclusion. Logical thinking has been proven to make a person “smarter.” Scientific thinking involves thinks like asking questions, using senses to gather information, and using words to express the reason something happened. Persuasive thinkers often follow a well-planned process because it allows them to recognize the different variables in the pursuit of persuasion.

...Deborah Rodriguez April 22, 2014 Social Security & Disability Seminar Assignment Unit 4 In unit four, we learned about the attorney fees that came up with our assignment. There are two main sources of attorney’s fees in Social Security cases. Most awards by far are paid by the claimant, usually out of past-due benefits. Another source of fees is the Equal Access to Justice Act (EAJA), a federal fee-shifting statute. For the most part, attorney’s fees for OASDI and SSI claims are governed by the same or similar rules. Many of the same rules apply also to non-attorney representatives. Attorney’s fees paid out of the claimant’s benefits are regulated by statute and regulations. Fees for claims resolved within SSA are authorized at the administrative level where the final decision is reached. Thus, administrative law judges approve fees in cases where a favorable hearing decision was issued, and the Appeals Council authorizes fees in cases decided finally only by the Appeals Council. The representative must file a request for fees in writing, which must include a list of services performed, the amount of the fee, and any expenses incurred. SSA considers a number of factors when evaluating a representative’s request for fees, including the type and amount of services performed, the difficulty of the case (including the skill required of the representative), and the results achieved. Although the amount of benefits received is taken into consideration, it does...

It was so important to them to have religious freedom that they gave up all they had. They gave up the security of staying in Great Britain and they travelled to the unknown. ...Analysis 4 Steven Young ITT-Tech Analysis 4 As per the president and the vice president of this company, I would recommend the following servers. I think first and foremost should be a Threat management server. The work that is being done is more than likely proprietary. There for the threat of a hacker needs to be MOST important. A print server so that the employees have a center location for printing. Also the amount of printing with GEO pictures could lag a server if this processes was to be on a shared with another service. The remote access server allows users to gain access to files and print services on the LAN from a remote location. For example, a user who works from home or being in the field using any Broadband connection will connect into the remote access server to access files, etc. A file server. This server will store and backup all of the employee’s files. An email server. An email server is a good idea for this type of company. Really any company for anti-virus redundancy. Setup properly, you can keep a few more viruses from getting through. A web server. As a cache to improve performance. Most of DNS queries are shared among lots of computers, if they are cached on our DNS server, clients don't need to connect to internet to resolve it, and a much faster LAN connection will do it. Also we want to name some computers that are only available in the LAN (i.e. on our network, you can't access then from the internet). An app server. ......
