How to Install Above Ground Pools

A new pool is no fun until it is full of water and installed properly. My husband and I help install two swimming pools per summer for needy families in our community. We have been doing this for six years and it never fails to put a smile on my face the first time I see kids jumping and splashing in the pools we install. In fact, nothing will make me madder than seeing an incorrectly installed pool. It is much better and much cheaper to do it right the first time. These are the basic guidelines to help you install your above ground pool.
Before you do anything, make sure you have plenty of people helping you. It will go faster and be more fun if you get a crew together. Preparing the foundation of your pool will be the first step. Remove any sod or rocks that would be beneath your pool. You will also need to remove any sod or rocks from around your pool, up to at least six feet. That means you will have a six foot dirt road around your pool. Once the sod and rocks are gone, you will need to level out the ground by digging up the dirt until you have an even area underneath and around your pool. You can measure and level the ground with a level or a transit.
When the ground is level, you will want to lay a foundation under your pool. Sand is the most traditional foundation that people use. The sand acts like a barrier between your liner and the ground. Now you are ready to assemble your pool. Installation instructions vary depending on manufacturers so follow the guidelines given. Most of them however are the same. Take your time and assemble the pool frame and then the pool walls that are fitted together.
Then roll out your liner in clean grass to make sure there are no impurities in it. Let it lay in the sun for about an hour. This will make the liner soft and easier to pull and fit inside the pool walls. Use at least three or four people when you pull the liner into the pool. Everyone will hold the liner over the sides and push the bottom of the liner against the bottom of the pool walls until the seams are all around the bottom evenly. Next, you will attach the clips to the top of the liner hanging over the pool walls. This will hold the liner in place and will not let it slip when you start filling it up. Finally, you will attach the skimmer to the outside of the pool wall and cut the hole in the liner for the skimmer. Do not cut the hole until the skimmer is attached because you could accidentally cut more than you need to.
The final thing you will have to do is attach the hoses from the skimmer to the pump. Then you can start filling up the pool with water. After the water gets above the skimmer, you can turn on the pump and the pump will start filtering the water already in the pool. Then the best advice I can give you is to get a float and a radio and jump in. Not with the radio but listening to it. It’s like having a piece of paradise in your own backyard, so enjoy and relax.…...

How to Map Your Industrys Profit Pools

...| How To Map Your Industry’s Profit Pools | Bus J-411 | | Carl Greeno III | 10/1/2013 | In this article it describes a useful framework for analyzing how profits are distributed among the various activities that form an industry’s value chain. A profit-pool opens a window onto the underlying structure of the industry, helping managers see the economic and competitive forces that are determining the distribution of profits. The strategy of a firm should be informed by an understanding of the sources and distribution of profits generated in an industry. Gadiesh and Gilbert took a value chain perspective to this when developing the profit pool framework. Profitability in different segments and stages of the value chain may vary a lot by product and customer group, by geography, or by channel. Step 1: Define the pool Key is to look at the industry broadly, beyond its traditional boundaries. Include all the activities that are meaningful to influence your organization’s ability to earn profits today and in the future. Examine the industry from three perspectives, your own, your competitors’, and your customers. Take a step back and take a look at your industry through the eyes of the customer. When referring to capsim, one of the most important aspects in the game is the customer survey. In being profitable and achieving a high percent of the market, you must fulfill the customers’ needs and expectations better than the competition. Defining the bounds of a profit...

How to Install a Controller

...come up with the concept of the Cisco Unified Wireless Network (CUWN) solution, which helps make it easier to manage such large scale deployments. WLC is a device that assumes a central role in the CUWN. Traditional roles of access points, such as association or authentication of wireless clients, are done by the WLC. Access points, called Lightweight Access Points (LAPs) in the unified environment, register themselves with a WLC and tunnel all the management and data packets to the WLCs, which then switch the packets between wireless clients and the wired portion of the network. All the configurations are done on the WLC. LAPs download the entire configuration from WLCs and act as a wireless interface to the clients. For more information on how a LAP registers with a WLC, refer to the document Lightweight AP (LAP) Registration to a Wireless LAN Controller. Q. What is CAPWAP? A. In controller software release 5.2 or later, Cisco lightweight access points use the IETF standard Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points protocol (CAPWAP) in order to communicate between the controller and other lightweight access points on the network. Controller software releases prior to 5.2 use the Lightweight Access Point Protocol (LWAPP) for these communications. CAPWAP, which is based on LWAPP, is a standard, interoperable protocol that enables a controller to manage a collection of wireless access points. CAPWAP is being implemented in controller software release 5.2 for these......

Pool

...Swimsuit The text swimsuit is a short story written by Jasmin Cargil. In the beginning of the story you can read about the main character Darla, who is at a pool party. A couple named Trevor and Mandy is hosting the pool party, and she was there with her boyfriend Jon. She is not wearing a swimsuit, and when Trevor tells her to join them in the pool, she would not do it. She lies and tells him that she did bring a swimsuit, and that she will join them later, but afterwards she thinks loudly that she did not bring any swimsuit because she hates to show her own body. She has a low self-esteem at that point, and I personally think that is has something to do with her relationship with her boyfriend Jon. He is not a sensitive guy, and she dose not take their relationship seriously: “Darla had realized earlier in the car that, if her relationship with Jon was not going to last, she would not really care much” she is ice cold, and she is tries to hide all of her feelings, by holding them back. When she finely tries to open up at the end of the story, she does it in an awkward way, by doing the exact opposite of what of what she do not like, and it was that she showed her naked body to the host Trevor. Darla, as mentioned earlier, is a very cold hearted person who does not really care about her boyfriend Jon that much, but he is not different from her. At the first page line 21 is the first example of their cold hearted relationship. Darla went to the bathroom the take an......

Pool

...Pool "Pool" is a short story written by Corey Campbell in 2009, about the young woman Darla at a pool party. Darla is a woman, I suppose, in her twenties. Her appearance is not described, it has all been left to your imagination, but when she puts on the swimsuit, we hear that the gold rings meet her collarbones, and that it doesn't fit her, so her body must be fit. Her relationship to getting married and settle down is a bit tense."I'd be horrible at it. I'd probably start drinking. I know I would (..) I don't know how you do it" L. 80, p. 10 and l. 176, p. 12. Every time they talk about having kids and getting married, whether it's to Mandy or Trevor, the couple they are visiting, she gets a bit defensive, thinking it sounds impossible and especially in such a young age. Darla and her boyfriend had a accident with a broken condom, where they bought a morning-after pill. She was nearly being drawn into the universe that she takes so much distance from. Darla has made up her mind that having kids and getting married, isn't her thing, and she has many prejudice about it. Darla's boyfriend is Jon, they have been together just under a year. Darla and Jon's relationship seems good on the outside, but on the inside, Darla knows that the relationship won't last, which actually is the thing she likes the most about him. Jon touch her in a gentle way, and ask her if she is okay. This makes him look like a good partner, but he also pushes her to do things she doesn't want to,...

Windows Server 2008: How to Install a Printer:

...May 17, 2013 1. Video: Windows Server 2008: How to Install a Printer: The Windows Server 2008 video was interesting to say the least; however sound or narration to the video would have been more helpful. Since it is silent it is difficult at times to ascertain exactly what the demonstrator is trying to communicate. At times the instructor was pointing to menu lists even though these were not part of the process. The process pretty much followed the same process that the lab book suggested in fact I had just finished the lab when I started watching the video. The only difference here was that the setup was for adding the printer on a Standard TCP/IP Port, which wasn’t covered in the lab book. Typing a printer name also selected the same as the port name. The instructor did copy/paste the IP address and Port Name, which did make that part seem much easier as well. Strange though the device wasn’t detected on the network and additional information was asked if the instructor. A generic network card was selected and then the printer still wasn’t located but the Add Printer window appeared and allowed the instructor to select the printer out of hundreds of others. Finally, an IBM 4029 laser printer was selected and of course the computer prompted for the driver disk immediately. Then a name for the printer was typed in, and then the installation process continued. Afterwards the Printer Sharing window appeared and the instructor entered the information required for......

Tide Pool

...Name: Odekoya Oluwatosin .E Matric no: 130811040 Course Title: General Marine Ecology Course Code: MSM 205 Date: 14th of July, 2015 Question Write on the factors that affect operations Tide pool in Nigeria Answers 1. Shape A large, shallow pool has a large surface area to volume ratio or a lot of the pool is exposed at the surface. A small, deep pool has a small surface area to volume ratio. Shape and volume become important when we consider the other factors that contribute to stress in a tide pool. 2. Temperature The temperature of tide pools is affected by air temperature and direct sunlight on the pool. Shallow pools with large surface areas are likely to be more affected by temperature. The major impact of temperature changes on organisms is a change in rates of photosynthesis and respiration. For every 10 degrees centigrade, photosynthesis increases by one and a half times and respiration by two to three times. This causes a build up of by-products, such as carbon dioxide and oxygen, within the water. 3. Oxygen Photosynthesis in plants, especially algae, cause oxygen concentrations to peak in the afternoon. At night, available oxygen is depleted rapidly and animals migrate to the surface. A pool with a large surface area to volume ratio will allow more oxygen to diffuse into the water from the air. 4. Carbon Dioxide and pH The other result of photosynthesis during the day is that carbon dioxide is taken up by the plants. As the......

... How To Install Ubuntu Linux By: Iptisam “Sam” Petzold Brown Mackie College SSE0050 Due: March 22, 2016 How to Install Ubuntu Linux Ubuntu is a version of Linux created to be easy to use, especially for those who are new to Linux. It has a Linux kernel based on Debian and is distributed as a free and open source software, not to mention that it is one of the most popular distributions for the desktop and server. Ubuntu also runs on phones. Ubuntu offers a LiveCD environment that lets you run the operating system from a media without making any changes to your hard drives. This is a pretty cool feature because you can essentially test-drive the OS before you actually install it. Once you create a bootable USB installation media, you can plug it into any computer, boot into Ubuntu, and download any data on the usable/ data storage partition. Before using Linux, my suggestion is that you brush up on your familiarity working with commands in the command line, because Ubuntu primarily uses the command line for most everything… then good luck and enjoy! Required supplies: * Downloaded ISO image (derives its name from the group’s standard for optical disc file systems, ISO 9660) of Ubuntu * Universal Serial Bus (USB) Bootable Ubuntu Installation Media (Thumb Drive 2GB or larger) * A laptop running Windows7 (with partitioned hard drive). * ***Possibly one or all of these programs installed to help you achieve the......
