Back to Future This movie’s main point is that Marty‘s family how is changing once he done something in the 1955, Since Marty back to 1955, he is helping his father to be brave man and help his mother and father to be together. Because having Marty's participation in 1955, Marty’s family life style has a huge difference than before. (Back to Future). Through watching Back to Future, I think time is important staff; one is that people can change. It is embodied by George McFly. The suggestion is that if we can identify our mistakes and our limitations, we can correct them and improve ourselves. The other theme is that we don’t change. That life has chosen a path for us and we’re just along for the ride. This is also presented, in cinematic irony, through George McFly. Despite this massive interruption into his life by a futuristic person, leading to a significant amount of personal growth, he ultimately ends up with the same result as before. However, if people change, the lives would be little different which can affect people the rest of life time, such as different salary, different respect, but same children, wife, home.
In conclusion, family is important for everyone, so for having happiness family, people need to be brave. Also, all people want to change things happened in the past, but in the real world, we do not have car for backing the past. So the only way is that change now, because every today will be the past tomorrow.…...

Future

...Playing Hide and Seek with My Future Dreaming can take you to wonderful places. At least that was what my father told me. Eight years ago, while I sat in my room, chin on my folded up knees, I asked myself what exactly I wanted to be when I grew up. As usual, my brain came up with billions of seemingly brilliant ideas; I could be a journalist, or better yet a news host, I could be an actor, or maybe even a politician, I could be a business woman, or I could just be the doctor my parents wanted me to be. Everything came to a screeching halt. A doctor; it is what almost every parent wants for their child. They would have knowledge that their child could save people’s lives, would be making money that could help those without healthcare, and even have the status of an intelligent individual who has done well for themselves; the doctor that would be the pride of the family. Nine year-old me breathed out a sigh. All the things I wanted to become, all the things I wanted to do, none of them seemed conceivable, or rather, none of them seemed conceivable to my dad. A doctor was what he wanted me to be; and a doctor was what I didn’t want to be. Having high hopes for his children wasn’t wrong of my dad. I understood that he had dreams once too. He never talked about his life before coming to America and even after putting together all the pieces, all the hints, I only came up with the bare minimum, if even that. Dad lost both his parents while growing up in the country sides...

Back to School

...Barack Obama is a master of speeches. In his speech “Back to school” Obama encourages students to study hard and urges them to make their education a priority, because they are the only people who are responsible for their own future. The speech takes place at Wakefield High School in Virginia, and goes out to every student in America. Obama starts out by politely greeting everyone watching from the school, TV, and thanking everyone who has been helpful. He modifies his language to children and young people so he is easily understandable. He doesn’t talk down to the audience, he shows them understanding. He is also using humor to put himself on the same level as the audience, making them feel comfortable; “… some of you are probably wishing it were still summer and you could’ve stayed in bed just a little longer this morning” (p. 1- L. 8-9) This way he doesn’t come off as this strict man from the White House, who is just trying to lecture the students about homework and school. He is not the president of the United States; he is just a man trying to reach these students, trying to tell them the importance of education. When Obama speaks in public, he uses a lot of different techniques to create a more emotional connection, and therefore he creates an impact on his audience. By using himself as an example he tries to encourage the students to take responsibility for their education, the future of their country, and their lives. “I know that feeling. When I was young...

The Future of It

...One area that stands out from the rest that will revolutionize organizations from an Information Technology perspective will be the use of software-defined networks or software-based networks will be used in the near future. As network infrastructures become more and more complex we will have the need to better manage the infrastructure as well. The software-based networks will be created to manage the large heterogeneous equipment that make of the infrastructure in the environment. In essence the network infrastructure will be managed by software, another way of looking at this is the network infrastructure will have an operating system to manage the resources similar to a desktop operating system manages a local systems resources today. For example with the software you will have the ability manage and program the routers and switches within your environment without accessing the components in question directly to program or manage them (Linke, 2012). This is completed by utilizing the software-defined network to separate the router and switches from their hardware and to be programmed and managed by a software-defined network controller (Linke, 2012). The shift to the environment by utilizing a software-defined network will impact the network infrastructure area moving forward by having much more granular control and management of the network devices that make up the enterprise network infrastructure. Let’s discuss the details of how the software-defined network......

...Essay about President Barack Obama’s speech “Back to school” Education is enormously important. The wish of having a good education system and people who freely use it is not something that only a few countries want or wish, but almost the whole world takes aim at this. The focus on education has particularly in the United States big mentions and support. The current Government, which are sitting on the power right now, has this area high on their list of upcoming plans for the future of the US. President Barack Obama has therefore also this topic involved in most of his performances and in most of the speeches he makes. Therefor, it’s definitely an option for the President to talk about the education topic in his speeches, which we also see in one of his speeches from 2009. This speech was held in Arlington, Virginia on September the 8. Obama visited Wakefield High School and presented his speech in front of a lot of older students, but also upcoming students, who was just about to start in a new step in the school system. As mentioned earlier, a clear point in President Barack Obama’s speech is how important the role of education has. This may also be the most important point he tells his audience about. He explains how, in this century one only can count on being considered for a job if one has an education. One can’t just expect that a job will appear and choose one, if the person has no proper education. Therefore will many good properties and abilities of the......

...grave to us, yet if we were to possibly use wisdom, we may miss the pitfall all together. The wisdom of learning from the past, of individually taking control, making a change and not relying on the powers that be, is one strategy. “Makes me wonder if all the wisdom was given to King Solomon and none left for us”, but even he faltered. So then it begs to say is there any purpose, reason or hope. Do we just literally exist and go round on a cog wheel of time. Without straying too far from the point, there is allot of room left for speculation as to whether some of these conspiracy ideas are true. Were we just put here and are aimlessly wondering this planet. While I was doing this piece it brought up allot of question about the past, future, who we are, why we are here? How our world/universe came to be? Is this all about balance and not right or wrong? TECHNOLOGY seems to be our vice, we are moving very rapidly towards an I.ROBOT society where we become so reliant on technology, we become the vegetable scientist of the past predicted. We no longer seem to live in natural time and with nature. The sculpture is a representation of the state we are partially in and on our way to. The robot is to encompass technology and the era of humanoid robotics we are embarking on. Although IRobot was a movie, it does seem as if it could be a likely possibility of what is to come. No Turning Back

...No Turning Back will inspire us to recognise all the countless graces God had have given us in our life. Despite what had happened to Fr. Donald Calloway, God was still there and he didn't leave him. God was there to guide him each step of the way even if he didn't know who he was. The movie expresses our Lord's infinite mercy and faithfulness. We should always make God the center of our life. When my older brother died, i lost everything. I started to question God. Why did you end his journey so fast? Why? Then, I realised that maybe his purpose here on earth is done and maybe God needs him in heaven. God has never left me. He is there when i start doubting my self, when i start questioning my existence. God has always been present in my life. I have always seek the Lord’s guidance in all my decisions. His answers are always right on time. In all my decision making, he is there. Like Fr. Donald Calloway, I was drawn into the wrong direction when my older brother died. The only way our faith restores, is in God’s forgiveness. Our actions has its consequences. From all the happenings in my life, I learned that God loves us unconditionally. Our suffering results from the sinful action ourselves and. I believed that we go through all the pain and suffering because God wants us to learn; Learn from our mistakes so in the future, we would know how to handle it and we wouldn't repeat what had happened. We have the will on whether we should sin, or not. There’s no limit to God’s......

Back to School

...Spilsbury English 3 A 12 September 2014 Back to School Coming back to school can be a little annoying and stressful, especially when I’m coming back from a long summer. I have to wake up early in the mornings; there is not much free time for myself; how could I possibly like that? Well, like everything else in life, it’s all about perspective. My life has the potential to be an art, and coming back to school can be an opportunity to prove it. I just have to be creative. I may think school is just taking away all of my time and that I don’t have the chance to play sports or do the things I like, and it might be true. But changing my perspective can allow me to see that school is not keeping me from doing what I always do, but it is an opportunity to learn something new. Now that it’s my senior year and that I’m a member of the student council, school is an opportunity to leave my mark in this school and to make a change in the students’ lives. It’s also an opportunity to learn and prepare myself for the life that I have ahead of me in the future. School can be great if I am patient enough and aware of what is happening around me. That’s why I have to pay attention to my surroundings. But what happens if I find myself in a situation where I have the potential to do something amazing, but I just don’t know what to do? That’s what preparation is for; school can help me prepare myself for the opportunities that may cross my way in the future, so that I can take advantage......

What Are Your Dreams of the Future? Now Looking Back at Everything You Have Done What You Would You Like to Change?

...What are your dreams of the future? Now looking back at everything you have done what you would you like to change? Getting clear about our dreams for the future helps us to crystallize our goals and prioritize the things that are really most important to us. It also helps to focus our attention and efforts on the things we can do to make our dreams a reality. And the evidence shows that it can make us happier as a result. I would like to be happy forever in the future. Being happy is a state of mind and I wish to be in that state forever. It doesn’t matter what I do on the career front or on my personal front, but I want happiness to be associated throughout with me. This is because I have learnt that only if a person is happy is he able to make people around him happy. This is how happiness multiplies. My goal setting would be on the basis of doing the things I love. The things that give me happiness, no matter how small or petty they may look or sound. Looking back at everything I have done, one thing I would like to change if I could is the time I have spent in my education and gaining degrees. This time spent could have been even more productive. Nevertheless, I wish to fill up the remaining life with happiness by having a healthy balance between my work-life. This is what makes a difference. Spending time with loved ones is something that has no price. To sum it up, my dreams of the future are to have realistic and measurable goals whose ultimate result is......

Back to College

...Back to College Kristen Marcel English 121: English Composition 1 Michael Slotemaker March 30, 2015 Back to College I think that everybody should consider going to college. Deciding to go back to college was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Going back to college was a very important decision. I took many steps in order to make sure I was making the right choice. It has and will continue to be a very positive influence in my life. Graduating college will improve my life in major ways. Providing the qualifications I will need to for my career choice, boosting my overall self-worth, and the feeling of achievement that I will receive from graduating college will effect the rest of my life. Having to chose a college that worked best for me and what to major in were the hardest steps to take. I used the internet to research different colleges. I also researched what careers go with certain majors. At first, I wasn't sure what college to pick from. I knew that an online college would work better for me because of the flexibility. The classroom environment was not something I cared for since it was hard for me to learn anything with so much going on. I always wanted a business or finance degree. When I noticed that Ashford was associated with Forbes, I was very interesting in finding out more about the school. With the help of my Admissions Counselor, I took all the appropriate steps so that I could begin working on my studies. I think that getting a......

The Boys at the Back

...The Boys at the Back The boys’ grades are dropping and dropping, while the girls' grades are getting better and better every year. This is very frustrating for the young boys, and research shows that more and more of the young boys are dropping out of high school and college because of this problem.  But what is the explanation for this? That girls are smarter than boys? Or that boys do not have the brain capacity to straight A’s? Although this might be a delight for many teenage girls, this is not the case.  Christina Hoff Sommers has been brave enough to take this issue up for us in the media in her article “The Boys at the Back”.  Previously, it was the boys who were at the top of the society. The male gender was the ones who had the most and the best opportunities in educations, and so did they of course have the rights, which women have not always had. But beyond that, the parents also expected more of their sons than they did from their daughters; "Families’ favoring sons over daughters in allocating scarce resources for schooling; cultural norms that de-emphasized girls’ education, particularly past high school; an industrial economy that did not require a college degree to earn a living wage; and persistent discrimination toward women in the workplace.” (p. 1, ll. 19-21).  However, in our today’s society parents seems to look more identical at their children. There has always been a small gap in preparation to education between boys and girls. In the......

...introduction of "thresholds" of risk: Country risk is a useful criterion for the foreign affairs when establishing the optimal level of the investment, for the credit or for purchase of financial products, but the main disadvantage is represented by the relativity of the score assigned to quantitative factors and particularly to the political environment. This is because future developments are expected and the anticipation accuracy depends on access to information sources, relevance of data used and the level of training of those involved. 3) Rating is used in setting prices for external loans and for speculative spreads titles. Because it acts as a ceiling on the corporate rating, indirectly it influences the ability of financing by external loans and implicitly, their profitability. Thus, access to international financial markets is granted only to good rated entities (national governments or firms), whereas for others, the cost of indebtedness is very high. Although metaphorical, highly suggestive seems in this sense the words "bankers give you the umbrella when the sun comes out and they take it back when it rains”. Therefore, the rating is for the entities a real "passport" in obtaining loans. 4) When the rating is favorable, due to the credibility of this indicator, the confidence of investors and creditors is maintained, even in the periods when on the receiving market failures occur. But rankings are relative because they may indirectly reflect the......

A Look Back

...A Look Back A man’s learning on ends when he loses the will to learn. Throughout this class I have found new strengths, also I have learned that I have many weaknesses still. I know that with a good plan of action even the most challenging topics can become easier. I have many strengths and weaknesses but I also have a plan of action to help with both. I have much strength when it comes to English and I have learned that I have developed a few more. I have gotten much better with comma splices and run-on sentences. As well as getting better with identifying fragments and preventing them I have learned to recognize my most common grammatical errors and prevent them. There are many things that this class has helped me work on. Even though I have learned many things in this class I have also discovered I still have many weaknesses. One of my greatest weaknesses is that I have trouble prewriting and getting my ideas from my mind down on paper. I also have trouble with sentence variety; I either use to many of the same kind of sentence or I try to use too many complex sentences and it doesn’t flow very well. The one thing that I have the most trouble with is writing out a good thesis. I am still using the same thesis formula that I learned in middle school. There are many things that I still have to work on. I have developed what in my opinion is a good plan of action to help me work on my weaknesses and bolster my strengths. If I keep working on my strengths I should only...
