Reflecting the trend for IT organizations to partner with the business and act as both an enabler and driver of value-generating core and enabling technologies (Luftmann & Kempaiah, 2008), SAP business executives have created an integrated solution set that enables closed-loop strategy-to-execution. Integrated customer offerings will require a significant realignment of key internal stakeholders as well as changes to their roles and responsibilities. This final project provides a description of the management system, the implementation plan and the performance and progress review system.

...Following APA 6th Edition Formatting Style Johanna P. Bishop Wilmington University The Basics of Formatting a Paper in APA 6th ed. Style Introduction In order for a paper to be perfectly formatted in accordance to APA style requirements, the paper must follow certain conventions. The basic conventions include making sure that specific rules are followed regarding margins, spacing, in-text citations and formatting the cover and reference pages. Understanding what these conventions are and how to follow them will help students to properly format their papers in APA style. This paper has been formatted in APA style so that it serves as an example of what properly formatted APA style papers look like. Basic APA Conventions The most basic convention in following APA formatting is to use a one inch margin all around for the paper. Students should pay attention to what version of Microsoft office they use as the older version has set the left and right default margins to 1.25 inches while the top and bottom margins are set to one inch. That means students will have to manually adjust the margins to one inch all around. Newer versions of Microsoft Word have set the default margins to one inch all around. Preferred Font Another basic element of APA style papers is the font used. The preferred font style is Times Roman 12 point font. Since the default font for MS Word 2007 is Calibri, students will need to reset the default font on MS Word 2007. Students using older......

...Top Five Most Stolen Cars Math 222 7 October 2013 There is a probability that cars on the top ten stolen car list would be stolen over other cars that thieves steel in the United States annually. There is a car stolen every 26.4 seconds in the United States today. According the National Insurance Research institute that is 715,373 in the year 2012. This paper is a statistical look at what are the five most stolen in the United States (US). Attempt to show the likelihood of one of these cars stolen from the Top Five Stolen Cars in the United States. I have also done my own research to show how many cars of the top five stolen cars are in the neighborhood I live in to support the data in this paper. I will also compare it to all the other cars that are not on the list so you can see how frequently cars on the top five stolen car list appear around you. When compiling the data the realization that none of my sources raked the top five stolen cars in the same order. This is because the research materials were written in many different states. Researching further if I had used all the data together the data would give outliers in the statistical analysis. So I chose to use the data from the National Insurance Research Institute for this paper. Looking at the numbers, the number one stolen car in the US is the Honda Accord 58,596. Number two on the list the Honda Civic with 47,037 cars stolen. Statics show that it is in the number two spot with a difference of 11,559......

...Bibliographic References Harvard format APA style Stuck with referencing? Try http://referencing.port.ac.uk This guide is based on the 5th edition. For help with the 6th edition refer to the website. MD5644 0810 Bibliographic Ref Harvard APA style.indd 1 19/08/2010 09:35 This leaflet is a summary of the APA style guidelines as contained in The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 5th ed., 2001 (Second Floor Subject Reference Collection: 808.02 AME). The APA style is based on the Harvard referencing system whereby the date of publication follows the author name(s) and intext references refer to items in the bibliography using the author surname and date of publication, in brackets. Referencing is important in all academic work as it indicates to the reader the sources of your quotations and borrowed ideas. Failure to indicate your sources could easily be taken for plagiarism (literary theft). The purpose of the referencing system is to describe your sources in an accurate and consistent manner and to indicate within the text of your paper where particular sources were used. Don’t get caught out! • • Keep a careful note of all sources used as you prepare your assignments. Record all the details you need about a library book (including page numbers) before you return it – someone else may have the book if you try to go back and check later. Make sure you write down the source details you need on any photocopies you make. Remember to......

Make sure the entries match. o Note: APA rules exclude some source types from reference lists. For example, communications like personal interviews and letters do not provide recoverable data. Therefore, they would be cited in a paper, but excluded from the reference list. ... | |5 |Indented, italicized, lowercase paragraph heading ending with a period. | *Also referred to as “title case.” **In a lowercase paragraph heading, the first letter of the first word is UPPERCASE and the remaining words are lowercase. Example: Experiment 1: An Interview Validation Study External Validation Method. Participants. Sleep-deprived group. Selecting headings (use in the order delineated): If only one level heading is required, then use LEVEL 1. If two levels are required, then use LEVEL 1 and LEVEL 2 headings. If three levels are required, then use LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2 and LEVEL 3. If four levels are required, then use LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2, LEVEL 3 and LEVEL 4. For a five level extended paper, use LEVEL 1, LEVEL 2, LEVEL 3 and LEVEL 4, LEVEL 5. Regardless of the number of levels of subheading within a section, the heading structure for ALL sections follows the same top-down progression. Each section starts with the highest level of heading, even if one section may have fewer levels of subheading than another section. For example, the Method and Results sections of a paper may each have two levels of subheading, and the Discussion section may have only one level of subheading. There would then be three levels of headings for the paper overall: the section headings (Method, Results and Discussion) and the two levels of subheading as......

...Rivier College Writing & Resource Center Using APA: Creating a Reference Page (Updated October 2012—APA 6th Edition) General Guidelines for Formatting a Reference Page Your reference list provides the information necessary for a reader to locate and retrieve any source you cite in the essay. Each source you cite in the essay must appear in your reference list (except for personal communications); each entry in the reference list must be cited in your text.  Start the reference list on a new page. Type the word References in upper and lowercase letters, centered, at the top of the page on the first line below the page header; do not underline, and do not put it in quotation marks. Your reference list must be in alphabetical order according to author’s last name; if no author is given for a particular source, alphabetize by the title of the piece and use a shortened version of the title for parenthetical citations. If you have more than one work by a particular author, order them by publication date, oldest to newest. Provide first initial (and not first name) and middle initial (if provided) for all authors of a particular work. Capitalize only the first word of a title or subtitle of a work unless it is a proper noun. Italicize titles of books and journals—note that the italics extend to include the volume number of a periodical as well as the period at the end of a book title. Use “&” instead of “and” when listing multiple authors of a single work. The first line of each......

...Running Head: STUDENT PAPER EXAMPLE This is an Example of an APA Style Student Paper Gregory White, Ph.D. National University Abstract This sample paper provides National University students with an example of what features of APA style they are expected to use when writing student papers. The required features do not require several features required by APA style for papers that report original research or that propose a research project. Students who follow the guidelines embodied in this sample paper are much more likely to receive better grades from National University professors than those who ignore the guidelines. The guidelines in this example are based on the sixth edition of the Publication Manual (American Psychological Association, 2010). This is an Example of an APA Style Student Paper This sample paper presents most elements of American Psychological Association (APA) style that your instructors will expect you to follow when writing papers for National University 9sychology courses (American Psychological Association, 2010). You will use this format for longer papers such as literature reviews, expository and narrative essays, as well as for shorter papers in which you are required to write just a few pages of commentary on some reading, assigned exercise, or class activity. In all cases your instructor will tell you if an assignment requires full APA style as outlined in this paper. In almost all cases, you should use appropriate......

...Running head: EXAMPLE PAPER FOR GRADING APA Example Paper for the Writing and Grading of Students’ Papers in the American Psychological Association (APA) Style Norm Stradleigh Course Information Professor Information Date Due Note: The title page establishes the reader’s first impression with the author’s work. Its importance cannot be over-emphasized. Visually center the title block on the page. The title block consists of the title, the author’s name, and the byline. The title is a description of the focus of the paper and should not have comments such as “A Research Paper on…,” as that would be redundant with the expressed purpose of a research paper. APA suggests a title of 10 to 12 words (American Psychological Association (APA), p. 11). Following the title is the name of the author(s). It is double-spaced and centered below the title. Double-spaced and centered below the author’s name is the byline. The byline is the name of the institution or institutions where the work was completed (APA, pp. 11-12). The words “Running head” followed by a colon appear on the title page only; left justified (one-inch margin) and one inch from the top of the paper. Following “Running head:” is a short form of the title, all capitalized. This shortened title has a maximum of 50 characters, including spaces and punctuation (APA, p. 12). The header appears on all pages including the title page. It is the first two or three words of the title (APA, p. 288). It is not in all......

Correct Example No date is required for retrieval unless the page changes on a regular basis. Use the DOI number for electronic sources rather than the name of a database: doi:xxxxxx. If the document does not contain a DOI number, use the URL of the publisher’s home page: Retrieved from http://www.xxxxxx. (Do not use periods at the end of a DOI number or URL address.) In this case, the article did not have a doi number. The home page for Nursing Standard is http://nursingstandard.rcnpublishing.co.uk/ Therefore, it should read Gaskell, S., & Nightingale, S. (2010). Supporting people with learning disabilities in acute care. Nursing Standard, 24(18), 42-48.
